When the film 'the phantom of the cinema' breaks, the light behind the screen is turned on and we the audience are witness to the life and struggles of a cinema-owner, the toilet cleaning woman and the technician. In a desperate attempt to get the screening going again they tumble and fall through their small chambers located behind the screen. This film is Erik van Schaaiks second movie in what will be a trilogy of films using silhouettes. It started with the much awarded short 'Vent'. With the voice talent of Michiel Romeyn en Domenic Kelly.

Als de film van 'The Phanton of the Cinema' breekt, worden we getuige van het leven achter het bioscoopscherm. Er volgt een schimmenspel waarin de hoofdrollen worden gespeeld door de toiletjuffrouw van de bios, de operateur/technicus en de bioscoopdirecteur. Men probeert de voorstelling te laten doorgaan, onbewust van het feit dat wij - het publiek - getuige zijn van de ontluikende liefde tussen toiletjuffrouw en de operateur en de vieze bijverdienste van de directeur. Met de stemmen van Michiel Romeyn en Domenic Kelly.
